“Truly those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and perform Salat, and give Zakat, they will have their reward with their Lord” (Surat Al -Baqara - Verse 277)
Dedicate your zakat donation to Palestine Refugees!
Your zakat can draw a smile on the face of a refugee child in urgent need of help. Palestine refugees hit rock bottom, especially since the prices of basic commodities skyrocket across the region, disasters and diseases hit Lebanon and Syria, and the cycles of violence continue in Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
UNRWA zakat programme contributes to preserving the dignity of Palestine refugeesthroughout the year by providing cash and food assistance to the neediest Palestine refugees in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
The Agency’s Zakat programme is subject to a strict and transparent policy regarding distributing Zakat funds to the most needed groups of Palestine refugees. 100% of your donation is distributedto beneficiaries without deducting any additional expenses.
Leading Islamic institutions declared their confidence and trust in the UNRWA Zakat Programme. In this regard, UNRWA obtained Fatawa from the Al-Azhar Mosque in Cairo and the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, highlighting the right of Palestine Refugees to receive the Zakat of Muslims in addition to considering UNRWA a zakat-eligible organization.
UNRWA is a partner of the Islamic Safwa Bank, which allows us to transfer all your zakat donations into segregated bank account based on the principles of Islamic Sharia and its lofty purposes to achieve fairness of distribution and establish the Islamic cooperation community.
Your donation means relief and a decent life for Palestine refugees.
